Big Alberta Black Bear coming right up to tree stand.
This Big Alberta Black Bear was guarding his bait, when he smelled a new scent he came strait in, stared me down and walked right to the stand. After a few minutes of staring me down he decided to get a closer look and got up on the tree.....FUN TIMES!

Elk Camp Part 2, the Remainder of Day One
Переглядів 51 тис.9 років тому
The first day of Elk Camp is always the most exciting and busy day! Everybody pulling into camp, setting up tents, cutting wood, getting horses settled, and most of all seeing old friends you havent seen in at least a year or sometimes more. This is the second half of day one in our Elk Camp series.
Elk Camp, What Elk Camp is all about, Good Times and Great Friends
Переглядів 173 тис.9 років тому
In this series of videos I am throwing a little twist to the traditional hunting video. This series will cover what happens behind the scenes at Elk Camp and what makes Elk Camp so special. It relates to most all hunting camps not just elk camps. This is the part of all the hunts that many people who have never shared a hunting camp get to see. The set up, the good times, and just all the stori...

I hunted with Aussie John this weekend for a day and a half. We were set up in a meadow doing a little calling and he got to see his first elk come to a call and I got to share this experience with a new elk hunter one more time. The feeling never gets old and the look on his face is what its all about!
Spot and Stalk Axis Hunt

Hunting Axis during the Rut, not sitting in a Blind or over a feeder, but listening for them to Roar and slip in to get a shot. After several failed attempts we able to get a shot on this great buck! As we were heading to a Roaring buck it appeared this buck had the same thing on his mind, the wind was right and we spotted him seconds before he noticed us. It was an awesome hunt!

    If you did not have a powerful firearm as the bear gets closer I am gonna have to say you did not act professionally and you are dumb and lucky. I would say this bear weighed around 400lbs. The black bear that killed Patrick Madura in The Smoky Mountains weighed 207lbs. If your country prevents you from owning a firearm and you are in bear country then I really can not root for you. As stupidity does not get a pass.

    • @bigfatno
      @bigfatno Рік тому

      Respectfully, "lighten up, Francis." In my state you cannot carry a firearm during black bear archery season. Maybe this person was simply following the rules of not carrying during black bear archery season? The rules are different across all states, and even within regions of all states. Please don't be so quick to judge. Additionally, although the Patrick Madura story is tragic, the black bear attack that caused his death was only the second bear-related fatality in the history of Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
